Ms. Mooney-Melvin is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Rush University Bone Marrow Transplant team in Chicago, Illinois. She provides case management services to patients going through autologous and allogeneic transplants and Cart T-cell Therapy.
Ms. Mooney-Melvin assists patients as they prepare for transplant and help to address patient needs surrounding areas such as lodging, transportation, caregiver planning, navigating disability/work concerns, and connecting patients with financial and supportive resources. In addition, she follows patients after transplant to address a variety of post-transplant needs.
