
Workshop: Graft-versus-Host Disease: Eyes
Dr. Margolis is the Albert and Edith Wolff Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis (WUSM). His areas of specialty include infectious and inflammatory eye diseases, corneal disease, and uveitis.
Dr. Margolis cares for patients with complicated infectious and inflammatory eye disease with a particular clinical expertise in the areas of HSV and VZV eye disease. To support care of patients with severe ocular inflammatory disease he helped create a combined rheumatology/ocular inflammatory disease clinic and an ocular GVHD clinic at WUSM.
Dr. Margolis has served as an investigator on multiple National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored clinical trials in the areas of infection, inflammation and HIV.
